In a unexpected partnership that breaks conventional forecasts, the game developer has unveiled an virtual partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, providing no-cost bonus story content for Shadows players.
Strange Questline Disclosed
According to the formal release, "An unusual confrontation leads heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a original quest, where rumors of prohibited practices and fearsome changes reverberate through the shadows." The plot features a "unusually garbed woman named Ada" who charges the characters with journeying into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her companion from a clandestine group.
The adventure centers on "bizarre tests and a fearsome enemy" and is available to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Recognizable Settings and Transformations
The preview showcases the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This important location was formerly where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The trailer finishes with a striking moment showing a character, likely the hostage, changing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.
Unique Items and Bonus Content
Players who successfully complete the adventure will receive an special katana in addition to multiple artifacts secreted throughout the area in secret chests. The update also contains premium Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
